5th and 6th Class are reading “Private Peaceful” as a class novel, they are enjoying the story set in World War 1. As part of the SESE programme they are reading and studying about Daniel O Connell and how effective his monster meetings were.

Each year, World Autism Day is celebrated on the 2nd of April globally with the goal of spreading awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder. Congratulations to the girls Spikeball team who participated in the All-Ireland competition in University of Limerick last Thursday 21st March. The girls played exceptionally well against the some of the best spikeball teams in the country. The girls reached the quarter finals and acquitted themselves very well.

A Guest Speaker from Agri Aware will visit the school to speak to the children from infants to 6th class regarding Agri Awareness and Farm Safety on Tuesday 9th April at 11am.
