Archaeologist – Aine Brosnan

Guest Speaker: Archaeologist – Aine Brosnan

Today the 11th of June 2018 we had a visit from Aine Brosnan who spoke  to the children (3rd – 6th Class) about what an archaeologist does, how they gather their evidence and why some things survive and others don’t. The children  looked at different artefacts and evidence  about how people lived long ago, while also looking at the timeline as far back as the Stone Age. The children really enjoyed the visit. Thanks to Aine for her descriptive talk.
