World Book Day takes place on 5th March 2020. On the day the children dress up as a character from their favourite book coming to school and bring the book in with them.

As a way of looking forward to the day, here are a few quotes from some very famous authors:

Walt Disney – “There is more treasure in books than in all the pirates loot in Treasure Island.”

JK Rowling – “I think it is the books that you read when you’re young that stay with you forever.”

Dr. Seuss – “The more you read the more things that you know. The more that you learn the more places you’ll go.”
