The Story of Amergin

Joe McGill, Radio Kerry presenter, visited the school on two occasions. The first day Joe introduced himself to the children and explained to them how a radio programme is created.  He told them how he would like them to participate in a programme on The Story of Amergin, that he was making. As the children were already familiar with the story, they were delighted to participate. Joe returned on a second date in March to record the children saying their individual piece.

Who knows, one of the children may follow in the footsteps of local presenter Joe!
