We had two surprise victories in the semi finals when Cork beat Galway and Mayo were victorious over Kerry.  The final was a very exciting and close contest with Cork the eventual winners by five points. Cork’s captain was Amy O Dwyer. The Most Improved Player of the competition was Hunter Boyou. He received the award for his heroic displays in goals.
