Treatment of Headlice

Due to unforeseen circumstances the date has been changed to Tuesday 28th May 2019 from 1.15pm – 1.45pm. Juniors & Seniors

Juniors & Seniors are getting ready for Spring. During Art class they have been working on making a Spring display with colourful flowers, butterflies and sheep. This month in Aistear Junior and Senior Infants are busy in the library. They have designed their own library cards, written book reviews and designed book covers.

Fundraiser – Bag Packing

A Bag Packing Fundraiser in aid of St. Finian’s N.S. will take place on Easter Saturday (20.04.19) in Walsh’s Supervalu, Caherciveen. If you are available to volunteer on the day please contact Katy Gwis (0871487334) or Katie Farrell (0860633670).      

World Autism Awareness Day

Each year, World Autism Day is celebrated on the 2nd of April globally with the goal of spreading awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder. Guest Speaker – Lisa Fingleton

Author of the “Local Food Project”, Lisa Fingleton spoke to the children from 3rd to 6th class on Monday 25th March 2019. World Down Syndrome Day

March 21st, 2019 is World Down Syndrome Day. To mark the occasion many of the boys and girls (and Staff!) wore odd socks to school today!
