The Kerry County Clean Up is on Saturday April 13th.  If you have an hour to spare, you’d be surprised at how much waste you can gather in that short time and it all makes a difference.

Since the County Clean Up began in 2012 close to 50,000 bags of litter have been collected and at least 400 tonnes of waste has been removed from our road sides.

Individuals, clubs, neighbours and community groups can join by registering with KWD at http://www.countycleanup.com or by calling 1850373737.

The deadline for registering with KWD is Monday next April 8th.  When you register, KWD will send out bags and high viz jackets and they will also agree a pick up location for the bags.

If the deadline to register has passed without getting the chance to register you still have the opportunity to join local Tidy Towns groups and community groups that have organised  a clean up nearby.  They will only be too delighted to get the help.
