Author of the “Local Food Project”, Lisa Fingleton spoke to the children from 3rd to 6th class on Monday 25th March 2019. Lisa spoke to the children about eating locally grown foods and foods with the least amount of air miles possible. Lisa was extremely impressed with the children’s knowledge about healthy foods and having a healthy, balanced diet. Lisa was delighted with the amount of children and especially the children’s grandparents that grow their own fruit and vegetables.
